During the Data Academy students will earn: BCS Foundation Certificate in Machine Learning. On completion of the BCS certificate students will receive a free 1-year Associate Membership to BCS.

On this Cyber Intrusion Analyst Skills Bootcamp, you'll be responsible for cyber security analytics in your business, to support the improvement of your threat visibility by focusing on network behaviour and interior network.In just 12 weeks, you'll build knowledge on networking concepts, operations, security, troubleshooting and tools.

The Digital Skills Bootcamp course allows the individual learner to choose which pathway in digital they want to continue upskilling themselves on, after the introductory unit. The Cyber Security pathway consists of 5 modules; Get Connected, Introduction to Cyber Security, Cyber Security Essentials, CyberOps Associate, and IoT Security. Learners will receive weekly support sessions and the information and help to choose the right pathway to better their future. Upon completion, the learner will receive a Skills Bootcamp certificate and the opportunity to progress onto one of our Digital and Technology apprenticeships such as; Level 3 Cyber Security Technician, Level 4 Cyber Security Technologist or Level 4 Cyber Intrusion Analyst.

Our Skills Boot Camp lasts for 16 weeks with 4 hours of contact time each week plus additional self-directed learning. It is delivered online by our experienced academics with keynote lecturers from our industry partners.The course is designed to meet the need of industry looking to make sense of their data, identify trends and communicate these persuasively, make intelligent business forecasts and take informed decisions – using off the shelf products. Machine learning and artificial intelligence applications will also be covered.

The Data Analytics Bootcamp is a 12 week course with 5 modules; Applied AI, Excel Fundamentals, Visualise with Excel, Power BI Fundamentals, and Storytelling with Data. This fun and interactive course prepares learners for the Qlik Data Literacy Exam, an industry recognised certification. The Skills Bootcamp is online, allowing learners to complete it in their own time and space, with access to weekly support sessions for additional help and the ability to email Imran Rehmi – Data Analytics Skills Coach – with any questions you may have. Once completed, learners will receive a ‘Data Analytics Skills Bootcamp Certificate of Completion’ and have a chance to progress onto our Level 3 Data Technician and Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship.

The Digital Marketing Bootcamp is a 12 week course consisting of 6 modules; Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Social Media Channels, SEO Principles, Google Ads, and Google Analytics. The Skills Bootcamp is online based and can be completed in the learners own time, at their own pace. There is weekly support sessions available and the ability to email Anna McGroggan – Digital Marketing Skills Coach – at any time if questions or issues arise. Upon completion of the Skills Bootcamp, the learner will receive a certificate and the opportunity to progress onto an apprenticeship course, such as the Level 3 Digital Marketer. In addition to developing and learning new skills, successful completion could lead to exciting advancements of the learners’ responsibilities in their work place and potential promotions.

Network Engineers deal with both hardware and software issues. They are a key part of putting things right quickly when networks fail, and they communicate problems that they have identified with network integrity or performance rapidly to ensure service is resumed and downtime minimised. Network Engineers help customers both technical and non-technical to install computer networks, maintain them, and offer technical support to users where necessary.

An Infrastructure Technician provides support to internal and external customers, helping them to be productive when using technology to do their own jobs, by using tools to problem solve and trouble shoot non routine problems. This course has been designed with industry experts to prepare learners for employment within different roles in the digital and IT sectors or enable progression to higher routes.

A Software Development Technician typically works as part of a software development team, to builds simple software components (whether web, mobile or desktop applications) to be used by other members of the team as part of larger software development projects. They will interpret simple design requirements for discrete components of the project under supervision. The approach will typically include implementing code, which other team members have developed, to produce the required component.

As an Infrastructure Technician, you will learn the key skills and steps that go into aiding a customer with their technical needs. You will learn how to: gather information to determine customer and system requirements, prepare and present a proposal for the customer before planning, installing and configuring the network.You will also learn how to test and troubleshoot the configuration, before preparing documentation for the customer to sign off on. Lastly you will also acquire the key knowledge to provide ongoing support for any customer.

The Digital Skills Bootcamp is a 12 week course, that allows the individual learner to choose which pathway in digital they want to continue their learning after the introductory unit. The IT, Networking and Infrastructure pathway includes 4 modules; Get Connected, IT Essentials, Networking Essentials, and CCNA Introduction to Networks. The learner will receive information and support to aid them choosing the most suitable pathway to further their learning and a better future. In addition, learners will have access to weekly support sessions with our Digital and Technology Skills Coach, Shaun McDonald, who is available to answer any questions and provide supplementary help if needed. After 12 weeks, the learner will receive a certificate of completion and have the opportunity to progress their learning and become qualified with a suitable apprenticeship such as; Level 3 Information Communication Technician, Level 3 IT Solutions Technician or Level 4 Network Engineer.

The Skills Bootcamp in IT, Networking and Infrastructure provides a solid grounding in computing at Level 3. Students can build on these should they decide to continue their studies beyond the Skills Bootcamp onto a full-time Level 3 qualification.
